Professional PGA golfer Max Homa turned professional in 2013, after playing in the 2010 U.S. Amateur Quarterfinals and 2013 Walker Cup. He also won the NCAA DI men’s golf championship.

He initially played on the Korn Ferry Tour (Web.com Tour) and had his first professional win at the 2014 BMW Charity Pro-Am against Jonathan Randolph by a single stroke. After one more win at the 2016 Rust Oleum Championship, he earned his PGA Tour card due to his 17th finish on the Web.com Tour regular season money list.

However, his first PGA Tour win came four years later at the 2019 Wells Fargo Championship against Joel Dahmen by three strokes. He won Wells Fargo again in 2022, and similar is the case with the Fortinet Championship, which he won twice in 2021 and 2022. The Nedbank Golf Challenge in 2023 is his most recent win, beating Niccolai Hojgaard by four strokes.

In the third round of The Sentry in January 2024, Homa hit a 477-yard drive that broke the record for the longest drive on the PGA Tour during the ShotLink era. His best major finish was at the 2024 Masters Tournament, where he finished tied for third place.
