That wraps it up! India would be happy with the overall outcome but as Harmanpreet Kaur herself admitted there are areas to improve upon. Better sides would not render India's mistakes unpunished in the bigger tournaments like the T20 World Cup. Having said that, the team would be happy about the fact that the youngsters got a chance to acclimatise to the conditions here in Bangladesh. It is an experience that will come in handy. We hope that you enjoyed the coverage. This is Darpan Tikiya signing off on the behalf of Soumarya Dutta.
Harmanpreet Kaur (India captain): I think the calmness that players showed through this series is something I would want to take to the World Cup. We made some mistakes but we will work on it in the coming one month. WPL gave these girls a lot of confidence. This tournament too will give us a lot of confidence. The experience of the conditions will help. Hopefully we will do well in the World Cup.
Radha Yadav (Player of the Match and Player of the Series): As I said earlier, I wanted to bowl wicket to wicket. That is what I was working on coming into the series. WPL experience definitely helped. Maybe we will also have some Bangladesh girls in it as well. Just been working on bowling in the right areas and on my fitness.
Nigar Sultana (Bangladesh Captain): It has been a tough series, but today it was a better approach by the batters. Batting is the area we need to work on. We need to work on our approach and intent in batting, like some batters settle down and then get out. Positives are the way Rabeya bowled and also Nahida. Our pace bowler Marufa did well throughout the series. Also, Ritu showed us today how to bat.
The presentation ceremony is coming up. Stay tuned.
India will take the 5-0 result with glee. However, there are still cracks that cannot be paved over. They would need to work on those in the upcoming Asia Cup which would be played in Sri Lanka. Remember, India come back to Bangladesh in the month of October to play the T20 World Cup and hence, the experience of this series would hold them in good stead.
Radha Yadav (India Women) - I have worked on my bowling and it has come off nicely. I want to bowl wicket to wicket and keep the line and length correct. It's really nice to play the five matches here and we know the conditions now. We are gearing up for the world cup. The whole bowling unit has worked really hard and we have done well as a unit.
India win the match by 21 runs and the series 5-0.
India 156/5 (20 overs) Bangladesh 135/6 (20 overs)
A margin of 21 runs is considered a healthy one in T20 cricket. However, Bangladesh can take a lot of positives from this game as they notched up their highest score of the series and for the first time, showed a semblance of fight.
It all started at the top of the order. Sobhana Mostary was promoted to open the innings and she lit up the powerplay with her firecracker like approach. Her quick knock of 13 and 3 boundaries in the second over made Bangladesh's intentions clear. She was undone by a screamer from Radha Yadav at point.
Hence, begun the Radha Yadav show. She bowled tight lines and lengths and rocked the batting line up of the hosts through the middle. Though, Bangladesh did not surrender.
Ritu Moni and Shorifa Khatun stitched up a partnership which kept them in the game. Albeit, India were overall the better side as they have delineated throughout this tour and were able to pull things back.

19.6 Titas Sadhu to Rabeya Khan, THAT WILL BE IT! India clinch the series 5-0 and they win the final T20 International by 21 runs. It was pitched up and around middle stump. Khan dragged it into the on side and got two extra runs due to the misfield. Bangladesh Women end up with 135/6 in 20 overs.
