Jemimah Rodrigues, Player of the Match- "More than my batting I am happy that we won. We had to play our best in this game and we did that. It wasn't the easiest of wickets but it suits my style of batting where the ball is keeping low. We have a really good atmosphere in our team where I get the freedom to go out an express myself. I've also learnt from my mistakes so far. I went back after the Test series and worked on a few things for the WPL. Everyone knows your weaknesses so it's important to keep evolving and keep playing with the bowler's mind and stay one step ahead of the game at all times. "

Meg Lanning, Delhi Capitals Captain, - "It was a good game for us tonight! We came in wanting to keep improving and we did that! I think we had the set batter in the end which was really helpful. Jemimah did really well. We lost a couple of wickets early on but recovered well. The bowlers did really well. We knew what the par score would be and we did well with that. Really happy with the effort overall. "

Jess Jonassen: I don't know to be honest, tonight our batters set it up, made my job easier and they needed plenty in the end and got some cheap one's, but I'll take anything. Probably comes with a bit of experience, I always love coming and playing here in India, it's about assessing the surface in that given game, in these three games it has come off and loving the moment being on the field and contributing to the victories. It was a good total on the board, with six overs to go, we were looking at 190, knew that Mumbai had a quality batting line-up, try and minimize any dew affect and Jemmie played a blinder, it was a pleasure to be at the other end to witness that.

Harmanpreet Kaur (Mumbai Indians captain): I think our fielding was not up to the mark, gave away too many runs and dropped catches didn't help, we still ended up scoring runs as our top order didn't contribute much. As I mentioned, we're not aware of the pitch, that was the only reason to chase today, we were expected dew and wasn't there any, kept low too and they didn't give us much to work with either. When we play on a ground where it's a bit short on one side, as a bowler they needed to stick to the plan and that can give us the result. It was a big target, thought we could hit the shorter side. Change of pace was helping to the bowlers, it was keeping low only then but otherwise batters were able to play shots but it's a different wicket than Chinnaswamy. Amanjot is doing well with the bat, today she contributed for us and if couple of our batters contributed, the result could've been different.

A comprehensive victory for the Delhi Capitals here at their home ground and they've defeated the Mumbai Indians by a big margin. They dominated with the ball right from the beginning and there was not a single phase in the second innings when the visitors looked like winning it. There was some lusty blows in the end from Sajana and Kaur that got Mumbai to a respectable score but it was never going to be enough in pursuit of 193!

Mumbai Indians Women went gung ho in the powerplay but they lost too many wickets at the top. Yastika Bhatia and Nat Sciver-Brunt were cleaned up by superb deliveries from Marizanne Kapp and Shikha Pandey. This was followed up with the wickets of Harmanpreet and the dangerous looking Hayley Matthews as the visitors were reeling at 54/4 at the end of the powerplay. It was down to Amelia Kerr and Pooja Vastrakar to initiate the recovery.

Kerr didn't last long either and it was Amanjot Kaur who played a counter attacking knock of 41 under pressure to reduce the margin between the two sides and put up a bit of a fight with Vastrakar until she was cleaned up by Jonassen. It was the pair of Radha Yadav and Jess Jonassen who went through the middle overs and gave nothing away. Marizanne Kapp was also good in the powerplay as she got two huge wickets early on and Titas Sadhu along with Shikha Pandey chipped in with a wicket each.
