Dasun Shanaka [Galle Titans captain]: We didn't do basics right on this wicket, both batting and bowling, they stuck to the basics and executed well and credit to Wanindu's innings on that track. Back of a length and they followed that, that's the kind to go on any wicket. Once you lose, lots of concerns and attentions and we didn't do well on the field, we were very sharp in Colombo, looking forward for the games in Colombo now.

Wandindu Hasaranga is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: This wicket is flat as I said in the toss, it's very good to bat and when were bowling, tried to keep it stump to stump. We missed Fakhar and Dushmantha in the first two games, but we bounced back well. One batter should go hard from the first ball, I got the chance to bat early and did well with my basics. Always try to stick with my basics, try to bowl stump to stump, whatever it is and keep bowling dot balls.

Chasing a score in excess of 200 was always going to be difficult and then Galle Titans had to contend with such a well-rounded bowling attack. But because this is a good pitch to bat on, one got the feeling that a solid run chase was on the cards.

In the end, all that happened for Galle was the impressive 7th wicket partnership between Ashan Priyanjan and Lahiru Samarakoon. Everything else went against them.

This is the 4th highest victory in terms of margins. With this, B-Love Kandy move to 6 points and get up to the top of the table with the best net run rate of the tournament at the moment!

Lasith Croospulle and Shakib Al Hasan were the only two other batters to register two-digit scores. Samarakoon top scored with 36 off 25 balls.

Bowling from Kandy was high quality right through! Skipper Wanindu Hasaranga, Nuwan Pradeep, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Dushmantha Chameera were all among the wickets. While Hasaranga took 4, Pradeep returned with 3 wickets and looked in great bowling rhythm. Mujeeb took two early wickets, as usual and Chameera got rid of the dangerous Tim Seifert.

This has been a forgettable leg of the tournament for Galle Titans but a memorable one for the home side, B-Love Kandy!

16.4 Wandindu Hasaranga to Richard Ngarava, OUT! MILES UP IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! It's all over as Kandy thrash Galle Titans to make it three in three here. Length delivery on the off-stump, Ngarava has a wild swing and skies it down to long-off where Chameera finishes a sitter. Hasaranga completes the game with a four-for and a quick fire fifty. No prizes for guessing who'll be the player of the match!

16.3 Wandindu Hasaranga to Tabraiz Shamsi, OUT! LEG-STUMP PEGGED BACK! Shamsi is a goner this time, googly to follow that spun back in with good pace. Shamsi has a big swipe across the line and misses, rattles the leg-stump. The day just keeps getting better and better for the Kandy skipper!

16.2 Wandindu Hasaranga to Tabraiz Shamsi, OH DEAR! Shamsi shimmies down the track to have a wild hack across the line, he misses everything and past the keeper, they pick up a couple. Hasaranga wants this to be reviewed, that kisses the top of the back pad and flies off the first slip as shown on replays, that makes it a close call. Ball tracking confirms WICKETS MISSING by not much!
