And with that win, the Royals cement their place at the top of the table. They have four wins from five outings and look like the side to beat this season. MI Cape Town have slipped to the fourth place with two wins from as many games.

Bjorn Fortuin (Player of the Match): It's good to get back on track. We had quite a hammering couple of days back against these back. Nice to be back in the winning day. Not too happy, I would have loved to be even better to my standards. We are not playing for individual accolades, happy that I contributed to the team's win. We did think it was slower than usual, we were surprised that they opted to field. There's been a few opinions is social media, I am not one toconfront them. It's nice to perform, especially at the home ground, and in a derby.

David Miller (Paarl Royals captain): (About the injury) Just got a little sock on it, it's the calf and need to see how it goes tomorrow. I'll find out tomorrow, see what happens. Very happy, it was great performance all round, got off to a flier and the boys continued the momentum after the powerplay, great to see J Roy back in amongst the runs and the bowlers did their job. We did wanted to bat, nice to lose the toss, being a day game, tried to squeeze runs on the board. T20 is difficult to be consistent, you'll get one or two losses here and there, it's all about being consistent with the bat or ball, today it was two guys in particular, but the bowlers have been consistent throughout. It's lively in the change room, just a few things and emphasizing on things which we've done, continuing that and we've got a few plans that we need to work on and improve.

Keiron Pollard (MI Cape Town): (On being asked about whether it was the right decision to field today) Obviously we didn't bat very well with the bat, restricted them to 160 odd was good, but rocked early in the powerplay from where we never recovered. We expected them go hard, with the brand new ball, expected them to score quickly early on. A couple of big overs in the middle and may be limited them 5 or 10 less in hindsight would've been good, but 163 on that track, I was happy at the end. You think about your strengths, oppositions strengths, weakness and stuff like that, when you make a decision it goes the other way, you get a lot of questions and where as if it works for you, then nobody asks about it. We have 48 hours and we'll be up against at our home ground on Tuesday, we just need to look at ourselves, these things happen and we will bounce back. These sort of collapses has to happen early in the tournament, just need to move on and won't delve about it much.

Chasing a total of 163 runs on a tacky surface, the start against the new ball was going to be the key. Bjorn Fortuin ensured that it did not happen, picking up two wickets in the first over of the innings. MI Cape Town never quite recover from that. He bowled three in the powerplay giving away just 11 runs. Ngidi and McCoy back him up well and MI Cape Town were 24/3 at the end of the field restrictions in comparison to the Royals' 60/0.

Somebody had to play a blinder to bring the back from that hole. But none of them could get going. It was a struggle for Sam Curran throughout his knock. He struggled to time the ball as the bowlers took all the pace off. Esterhuizen found it tough for the most part of the innings. He finally started taking on the bowlers with the required rate rocketing up and fell in the process.

Liam Livingstone played a little cameo with the other batters falling around him. But his innings did not last long enough. But, even by that time, the result of the game was a forgone conclusion.

Every single bowler played his part for the Royals. But the spinners were the real stars today. Shamsi and Fortuin finished their spells with a combined figures of 5 for 26 in 8 overs. There was no recovering from that. Royals were on top right from the first over of the chase and they never gave an inch away. They have finally got their first victory against the MI Cape Town.

That's it. Paarl Royals destroy MI Cape Town by 59 runs and they take the bonus point!

18.2 Lungi Ngidi to Kagiso Rabada, OUT! BOWLED'EM! It's a comprehensive victory for the Paarl Royals. Good change of pace, dips a length delivery on the off-stump and deceives Rabada completely who swings across and misses, rattles the stumps. Paarl Royals hit back for that loss on Friday as they solidify their position at the top of the table.

18.1 Lungi Ngidi to Kagiso Rabada, back of a length, angled into the batter. Rabada right behind the line and defends it into the on-side for no run.

Another wicket fall for MI Cape Town. This is moving towards a walk in the park for the Royals. They are just one wicket away at the moment.
