That's it for this one. We have another game coming up shortly. Hop tabs to follow that. And keep coming back here for more. Till next time, ta, ta and bye bye.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz | Player of the Match: After a few matches where I did not score, it is difficult to come back. I give all the credit to the coaches and the management. It is important for my team that I take good decisions behind the stumps as well. I try my level best to do better for my team.
Joe Denly | Sharjah Warriors Captain: I think we contained them well. We started well with the ball and through the middle, we never let them get away from us. But they have quality bowlers and we certainly made the run-chase interesting. The replacements have added some great strength and depth to the squad.
Sunil Narine | Abu Dhabi Knight Riders captain: I think the key factor was getting early wickets. That didn't happen. Gurbaz played a nice innings and the match went out for hand. On this pitch, 149 was sufficient. Not so in the other games.
Sharjah Warriors win by 4 wickets!
Rahmanullah Gurbaz 56 (39) | Mohammad Nabi 18 (11)
Lahiru Kumara - 3/36
It was a strange chase from Sharjah. They were put on their way by a terrific innings from Rahmanullah Gurbaz but once the wickets started to fall, it led to a mini collapse.
But Nabi and Noor Ahmad ensured there were no more alarms with their calm stand which took them home.
Earlier Gurbaz was destructive as he went ballistic and smashed the bowling to all parts.
The Knight Riders did everything but nothing worked until Kumara and Akeal Hosein took 4 wickets to induce some panic in the Warriors' camp.
The woes for Knight Riders continue as they suffer their 6th loss out of 7 games with one washout helping them with a point.
Stay tuned for the presentation...
