The 2019 draft was held from April 25-27 in Nashville, Tenn. The 2019 NFL Draft looked very similar to the 2018 draft in some respects.

A Heisman-winning Oklahoma quarterback was the No. 1 pick in both drafts – Baker Mayfield to the Cleveland Browns in 2018, and Kyler Murray to the Arizona Cardinals in 2019.

The New York Jets had the No.3 pick in both drafts – the Jets took USC quarterback Sam Darnold with the third pick in 2018, and Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams in 2019.

But while the 2018 draft was dominated by quarterbacks at the top of the board, the 2019 draft was dominated by defense. Four of the top five picks were defensive players, led by No. 2 pick Nick Bosa, a defensive end from Ohio State who was picked by the San Francisco 49ers.
