Meanwhile, Kane Williamson is going to lead Team New Zealand in ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and Gary Stead will be the head coach of New Zealand Squad.

The runners-up of the past two editions of the Cricket World Cup New Zealand Squad 2023 will be led by the inspirational Kane Williamson in the latest instalment of the marquee event in India between October 05-19.
The 2019 runners-up have retained most of their players from the last event, while also strengthening their set-up with fresh faces.
Will Young and dynamic southpaw Devon Conway will spearhead their batting-unit at the top of the order this time around.
Tom Latham will lead the team in the first-half of the tournament in the absence of Williamson, who continues to recover from the ACL tear he suffered earlier this year.
Latham and Daryl Mitchell will lead the middle-order while the likes of Glenn Phillips and James Neesham will inject the necessary firepower at the depth.
Mark Chapman will slot into the playing XI as Williamson's cover.
The Kiwis are stacked in the pace department, which includes the legendary duo of Trent Boult and Tim Southee, a dangerous swing bowler in Mark Henry and a bolter in Lockie Ferguson.
Left-arm orthodox Micthell Santner will lead the spin arena, along with wrist-spinner Ish Sodhi. SLA Rachin Ravindra has also been added as the 3rd spinner.
