Bryan Danielson vs Will Ospreay

Danielson has long been viewed as the best technical grappler, and seemingly one of the best grapplers alive, for a long time now. Ospreay has painted splendid in-ring performances against Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada, and numerous others lately. Some think about Ospreay as the future of professional wrestling. It's whether or not what's to come is presently when Ospreay and Danielson face each other for the first time.

Kazuchika Okada vs PAC

Okada, following an illustrious career in New Japan Pro Wrestling, has made a significant move to AEW. With five IWGP Heavyweight titles to his name, including a record-setting reign, he swiftly captured the continental championship from Eddie Kingston upon arrival. His first title defense against PAC promises a clash of two intense competitors, with PAC's remarkable athleticism and Okada's renowned skill set to electrify the ring. Additionally, with the match adhering to continental rules, any interference will be strictly penalized, ensuring a fair showdown.

Toni Storm (w/Luther) (c) vs. Thunder Rosa

"Timeless" Storm brings a unique character-driven presence to AEW, injecting freshness into the roster. As the reigning AEW women's world champion, she faces a formidable challenger in Rosa, a former champion with a background in mixed martial arts. This matchup marks Rosa's return to title contention since surrendering the championship in 2022, promising an intense clash between two distinct competitors with contrasting styles.

The House Of Black (Buddy Matthews, Brody King, & Malakai Black) vs. Eddie Kingston, Adam Copeland, & Mark Briscoe

In one of the few non-title matches of the event, former AEW trios champions, House of Black, confront three formidable opponents from the promotion. Malakai Black's pursuit of Adam Copeland's TNT championship has fueled tensions between the two factions. With Kingston and Briscoe joining forces with Copeland, the confrontation promises to be intense as both sides seek to settle their respective rivalries.

FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson)

After Darby Allin and Sting secured victory over the Young Bucks in Sting's farewell match at Revolution, Darby vacated the AEW tag team championship. He set the stage for a tournament to crown new champions. The Young Bucks and FTR advanced to the finals, reigniting old rivalries. A controversial decision by AEW to air legitimate footage of a physical altercation between CM Punk and Jack Perry at AEW All In London added further intrigue to the upcoming tag title match. It promises a showdown filled with drama and anticipation.

Julia Hart (c) vs. Willow Nightingale

This match pits AEW's enigmatic champion against its beloved fan-favorite contender. Hart's transformation from cheerleader to a member of the House of Black adds a sinister edge to her persona, contrasting sharply with Nightingale's affable nature. Despite Nightingale's likability and underdog status, both wrestlers are vying for the TBS title and a chance to face Mone at AEW Double or Nothing on May 26. The match is governed by unique House Rules that promise an intriguing twist to the encounter.

Samoa Joe (c) vs. Swerve Strickland

Strickland's ascent in AEW has been remarkable, with many anticipating his eventual reign as world champion. Despite his formidable skills and confidence, his bid for the title at AEW Revolution was derailed by a bitter feud with "Hangman" Adam Page. Now, facing "The Samoan Submission Machine," Strickland seeks redemption. However, he faces a daunting challenge against a champion known for his cerebral approach and ruthless tactics.

Roderick Strong (c) vs. Kyle O'Reilly

In a highly anticipated showdown, former allies turned rivals collide as Strong and O'Reilly vie for championship gold. Stemming from their shared history in the Undisputed Era, their paths diverged in AEW, leading to a bitter feud. O'Reilly's surprise return at Revolution intensified tensions, culminating in a heated confrontation at AEW Battle of the Belts X, where allegiances were shattered. Now, O'Reilly seeks retribution and his first AEW title against his former friends.

The Acclaimed vs Bullet Club Gold

The match's anticipation rises with the title-for-title stakes, even though the buildup has been lukewarm. Both Bullet Club Gold and their opponents bring their own appeal, adding intrigue to the clash. Despite any personal preferences, fans can expect the match to inject new excitement into the storyline.

HOOK vs Chris Jericho

HOOK, the FTW Champion, will defend his title against former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho on the upcoming show. The match was announced on the latest episode of Dynamite. Despite working together in recent weeks, tensions rose between HOOK and Jericho during their encounter on the show. HOOK, accompanied by his father Taz, expressed his desire to face Jericho alone in the ring, leading to the match being confirmed between the two AEW stars.
