
Im Sung-Jae, often known as Sungjae Im, is a South Korean professional golfer. He was born on March 30, 1998. Im has two victories from Web.com in 2018. In the same year, he was awarded Player of the Year. Sung-Jae Im turned pro in 2015, and he competed on the Japan Golf Tour in 2016 and 2017. His best finish came at the 2017 Mynavi ABC Championship, in second place. He placed fifth in scoring average and 12th overall on the 2017 tour money list. Im earned his first PGA Tour win at the Honda Classic in March 2020 and was awarded Rookie of the Year for the PGA Tour's 2018-19 season.
During his 100th appearance on the PGA Tour in October 2021, Im defeated Matthew Wolff to win the Shriners Children's Open after rallying from a three-shot deficit. This was his second PGA Tour win, out of his total seven professional wins as of March 2025. Further, he is ranked world No. 22 and has a career-high ranking of world No. 16, achieved in February 2021.
