That was a thoroughly professional bowling effort from the Surrey bowlers as they managed to defend their score of 186 and ends up winning the game by 13 runs. When Jos Buttler and Steven Croft were going great guns, it looked relatively easy for the Lancashire Lightning but a couple of quick wickets meant that they were behind the eight ball and could never really recover from that.
Philip Salt and Jos Buttler came out all guns blazing and raced away in the first 3 overs. Salt struck a couple of gorgeous shots before his departure at the hands of Sean Abbott. Buttler kept up the good work and in the company of Steven Croft, got the run chase back on track. The duo shared a 62-run stand which took the game deep.
Buttler looked in great touch but was eventually dismissed by Dan Moriarty at a crucial juncture of the game. Croft and Liam Livingstone tried to hog the limelight but the Lancashire skipped didn't get any momentum to his knock. Livingstone scored a dodgy 7 off 13 deliveries before giving it away to Sunil Narine. Daryl Mitchell joined Croft in the middle and the duo again stabilized the innings and looked like getting it done for their team.
Following Croft's departure, the pressure kept mounting on Mitchell. He smashed a six and a four of Sam Curran in the 18th over but the last two overs proved to be too good for Mitchell. Chris Jordan and Sean Abbott kept nailing their yorkers and managed to restrict them to 174/6 in their 20 overs, this securing a 13-run win.

19.6 Sean Abbott to Daryl Mitchell, SURREY ARE GOING TO FINAL'S DAY! Another one in the block hole outside off, Mitchell shovels it down to long-on for a single. That is a superb bowling performance from the visitors. Surrey win by 14 runs!
19.5 Sean Abbott to Rob Jones, another low full toss outside the off-stump. Jones pushes it down the ground for a single
19.4 Sean Abbott to Daryl Mitchell, wide low full toss outside the off-stump. Mitchell shuffles across and bunts it to extra cover for one. That should be that!
This is brilliant bowling from Sean Abbott. Nailing the yorker perfectly and Lancashire requires 17 runs from the last 3 deliveries.
19.3 Sean Abbott to Daryl Mitchell, another perfect wide yorker. Mitchell can't quite get underneath it as he swings and misses. It's now or never for the Lancs.
19.2 Sean Abbott to Daryl Mitchell, sticks with the wide yorker but this was in the slot. Mitchell loses his shape as he swings like a rusty gate and fails to connect, dot ball
19.2 Sean Abbott to Daryl Mitchell, wide. Attempting the wide yorker and it's well beyond the tramline. Abbott belives Mitchell had moved across but he's not getting the call in his favour
