Right then! We have a new Vitality Blast Champions. Jack Taylor collects and lifts the trophy. It's going to be a long celebration for these players and they will cherish this moment forever. They turned up like warriors and produced a commanding all-round performance to take the title away from Somerset.
With that, we end the coverage here. Hope you enjoyed it, until next time, this is Pragadeesh and Pradeep signing off
Jack Taylor (Gloucestershire Captain) - What a day! Just so pleased with the boys and everything is special today! We had a strong belief and we know that we have guys, who can get it done. The schedule is tough but to play cricket like that - I can ask no more. They have done it the whole campaign. Josh Shaw and David Payne have been phenomenal. (On Bancroft) He is massive and he has played with us all formats this year. He laid a platform and was consistent throughout. We had a tough few years but to win the title finally is impressive. Last week, it was good for us in the quarterfinal and it boosted our confidence. He's a massive part of the club and this victory is for him. (On Mark Alleyne) He's given the guys a lot of trust and told them to go and express. He wants us to read the conditions better than the opposition and we did that most times in this tournament
Lewis Gregory (Somerset Captain) - We didn't get enough runs. Hats off to them, they bowled brilliantly. We were 25 runs short. They kept taking wickets and made our job harder. Absolutely, we have a fantastic bunch of guys in the dressing room. It's hard to take this defeat but we will move on. It's a shame that Banton is missing but the shots that TKC has got is phenomenal. We were 25 runs short and we were outplayed, credit to them. We got a massive two weeks to go. Two more trophies on the line and let's see what happens
Matt Taylor is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: Speechless to be honest, it's all for the fans, friends and family, unbelievable day. First finals day for me, couldn't have imagined the way it turned out for me. Payne is someone I look up to, fantastic bowler, always gives the tips. Just trying to be unpredictable, using the slower one's to good affect. The ability to do the change of pace, it has worked well today. It was great to see the atmosphere, coming in here and it's just brilliant.
David Payne is the Player of the Year! Here's what he has to say: Feel a lot of emotion, huge amount of pride playing for this team. Probably never felt better, made a better decision to move into the contract and kept my body ready. It's the best decision I've ever made. I felt like I've never been clearer, fresh body and fresh mind, given 110% to the team always when I stepped on to the ground. Watching the likes of Matt Taylor and others doing so well in this campaign, just a pleasure to watch them. Pride moment for me, can't believe!
Gloucestershire will finally have their hands on the Vitality Blast title. What a story, they ended the 22-year-long wait. They completely pinned the favourites Somerset down with an emphatic performance. Look at the scenes in the middle after Price thumped the length delivery for a maximum.
After a clinical bowling performance, Bancroft and Hammond took calculated risks and their approach paid rich dividends. They always looked in control and self-assured in the middle. At one point, the bowlers ran out of ideas to break this partnership. The openers took responsibility on the big stage and stitched together a match-winning stand to help the team cross the finish line
This is a one-sided final and only a few would've predicted the match to pan out the way it did. Somerset were given the favourites tag but they were steamrolled by the confident Gloucestershire side
