That's all that we have from this game. Still one more to come - keep an eye on our tabs for our coverage of the same, and a lot more! This is Rajarshi, signing off for now. See you later!
Rovman Powell, Delhi Bulls captain: It's a good habit to have, the interviews as a winning captain are quite nice. Credit to the guys, particularly the bowling unit. Early days, it's a short competition, once you pick up the winning momentum it becomes important. Game after game after game, don't want to be losing. It's how good the wickets are, always get some real good proper wickets here at Abu Dhabi. That's something that I enjoy.
Richard Gleeson is the Player Of The Match, on his birthday at that! Here's what he has to say: Nice wicket to bowl at, a bit of tackiness in it. Simple plans, bowling to the long side, skipper helped me. Enjoyed Coxy's wicket the most, I know him quite well, gonna be teammates in January, it's got to be Coxy. Very quiet celebrations, two games in two days coming up, I need my rest. Nice and quiet, maybe a couple drinks.
Match summary:
Delhi Bulls win by 7 wickets with 24 balls to spare
Rovman Powell 37*(11) | Richard Gleeson 3/4 (2) Carlos Brathwaite 21(17) | Joshua Little 2/19 (2)
Delhi Bulls' Net Run Rate is going off the charts! 4.777 - no one's getting close to that for sure! The Bangla Tigers were in it for a little bit, but they needed more wickets - basically a 3-wicket over like Richard Gleeson had earlier in the game. Rovman Powell walked in with intent and one thing in mind - finish the game off without any fuss. Rossouw gave him great support, and the Bulls were home and dry in no time!
Joshua Little was the pick of the Tigers bowlers. The wicket is beginning to show signs of slowness, and the Irish pacer seemed to make the most of it. The ball stuck on the deck on de Kock as he looked to crash one over cover and holed out. Charles departed in the next over trying to attempt an ambitious paddle, and the Tigers could smell something intriguing once Vince holed out off Little.
But the Tigers were unable to latch on to a couple of chances offered to them post that. The over from Howell killed the game off - Howell caught Rossouw off his own bowling but overstepped right on that occasion. Carnage followed - Powell picked everything off Howell's hand, pumped three out of the ground, and the Bulls were there the next over itself.
6.1 Abdul Ghaffar to Rilee Rossouw, no ball, FOUR! That'll do nicely! Ghaffar sprays this one close to head height outside off, Powell throws his bat at it, gets it into the gap at wide third, and seals it! The Bulls coast home with 4 overs to spare!
Just the boundary needed for the Bulls to seal it. The no ball from Howell earlier in the previous over turned the tide away from his side completely
