Dasun Shanaka [Galle Titans captain]: Really pleased to see the way we played today, all the departments clicked. We could've slightly better with the ball in the end, credit to the batters as well. We're looking forward for Richard Ngarva, hopefully we can cover the bowling part in later part of the tournament, batting is in good shape but we need to work on the bowling.

Kusal Mendis [Dambulla Aura captain]: Very good game for the fans, certain areas needed to work and learning is always there, can come back better in the next game. Last three overs we gave away too many, 30-35 too many and we didn't get off to a good start.

What a match to start the day in Colombo! The run chase began shakily for Dambulla Aura as they lost both their openers cheaply. But then, a counter-attacking 3rd-wicket partnership between comeback man Kusal Perera and the in-form Dhananjaya de Silva brought things back in favour of the batting team.

The over of Lasith Croospulle turned out to be shocking one for Galle but the inspired bowling change by the captain to bring himself on paid dividends! Dasun Shanaka struck with 3 key wickets and gave away only 27 runs in his 4 overs.

Shakib Al Hasan was impressive too but the rest of the bowling should have done better, as the 7th-wicket partnership between uncapped Australians Alex Ross and Hayden Kerr took the game by the scruff of the neck and never let the chase get away from them.

In the end, it was down to Alex Ross in the last over to score 16 runs against Kasun Rajitha. And believe it or not, he scored 15! Off the last delivery, they could manage only 1 run when 2 runs were left to win.

That took the match to the Super Over and Rajitha made up for everything by giving away only 9 runs, taking the big wicket of Kusal Perera.

Galle Titans did not take much time in knocking those runs off as Bhanuka Rajapaksa finished it off with a four and a six, with a wide in between from Binura Fernando to help matters!
