So, that is it from myself, Karthik and my co-commentator, Lavil. Do stay tuned to Sportskeeda's coverage of a lot more cricket matches
Rovman Powell: The guys set it up well in the powerplay. It was a pretty good game from the guys. I think we find a little loophole in the Kings in the powerplay and in the backend. Imad will leave a big void and don't think we can fill that. But we still have good guys on the bench.
Faf du Plessis: We didn't start well. There was some incredible hitting but we didn't hit our lengths. When someone gets 200 plus, it was always going to be tough. Good cricketing wicket though. Lot of catches being dropped surprises. Some of the catches should have been taken. Disappointed that we lost by so many runs. With a big total, someone needed to get 70 or 90 plus. Our next two games are day games and we favour that.
Kennar Lewis: I just stick to my basics and try to maximize during the powerplay. Behind the wickets, I can advise the bowlers if it is spinning or not.
Kennar Lewis has been named as the 'Man of the Match' for his blistering 56 off 24 balls
ALL OVER!!! Jeavor Royal holes out to the man at deep mid-wicket as St Lucia Kings are bowled out for 156. As usual, Andre Fletcher started with a big but Faf Du Plessis departed in the second over itself as he rapped in front by Imad Wasim.
Fletcher continued to blazer away but his 30-run blitz was brought to an end by Andre Russell. From there on, the duo of Mark Deyal and Roston Chase stitched a cracking 66-run partnership off just 32 balls. The stand was full of scintillating shots from both the batsmen. However, Carlos Brathwaite dismissed the duo off back to back deliveries in the ninth over. Kennar Lewis also had to play a big part in Chase's wicket as he plucked out a left-handed stunner.
This is when St Lucia started to collapse as they lost wickets at regular intervals despite getting a few boundaries here and there. The spin twins, Imad Wasim and Veerasammy Permaul were especially superb during the middle overs by removing the likes of Samit Patel. Tim David and Alzarri Joseph. In the end, a couple of run-outs also helped Jamaica as they rolled over St Lucia for 156 and seal a 55-run victory
18.1 Andre Russell to Jeavor Royal, CAUGHT! TALLAHWAHS WIN! Length delivery on the line of the off stump, Royal pulls that one away on the legside. Fails to get enough bat to ball on that occasion and Veersammy Permaul does well to hold onto the catch to dismiss Royal. 20 wickets falling in the match as the Tallahwahs win the match comprehensively by 55 runs
Woof, maiden in the 18th over. Kesrick Williams couldn't get Veerasammy Permaul off the square
