Alright then. That was some marveling cricket at the Marvel Stadium, wasn't it? Proper T20 high-scoring thriller, that's what we all love, don't we? There were 20 maximums hit today, the most this season. Tells you pretty much everything you need to know about tonight's contest. These two sides will go head-to-head once more at the same venue on Boxing Day. Hopefully, we'll have more of the same that day. That's all we have for now though! This is Pratyush Rohra, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Pradeep Somashekar. See you around!
Mitchell Marsh has been adjudged the Player of the Match for his blistering knock of 86 off just 53 deliveries!
Marsh says, really tested us in the end, great innings from Finch, it's a beautiful cricket wicket and I thought 180 was par but then to get over 200 was some great batting from us but it was a great game of cricket. It's been fun, I've said it few times as I'm sticking to the processes and be disciplined with that and come out here to enjoy the game. It was great feeling to get Maddinson, if not then it was game over for us, he's a super talent.
Perth Scorchers win by 21 runs.
That's five wins on the board for the Scorchers now as they continue their undefeated run in this tournament. It wasn't as comprehensive as the scorecard suggests. Nowhere near. After Marsh and Evans powered the Scorchers to a mammoth total, the Renegades knew they would have their task cut out in this run chase.
The Scorchers got off to a dream start with the ball as well, with Behrendorff dismissing Harvey in the very first over. However, Nic Maddinson and Aaron Finch's 130-run stand threatened to take the game away for the Scorchers with the two experienced batters going out all guns blazing.
Mitch Marsh turned out to be the man with the golden arm, dismissing Maddinson in the over after drinks. Finch departed soon after as the Renegades innings came crumbling down under pressure as the scoreboard pressure proved to be too much for the home side.
Hatzaglou and Agar were pivotal in pulling things back while the pace attack was under the pump. Tye and Mills saw the game out with their experience and ensured there were no further hiccups as the Scorchers picked up their fifth consecutive win of the tournament.

19.6 Peter Hatzoglou to Sam Harper, good length on the off-stump, Harper presses forward and sees it out and Scorchers continue the winning run in the season and Renegades slump to their third defeat in a row!
19.5 Peter Hatzoglou to Will Sutherland, drops it short but wide of off-stump, Sutherland goes reaching for it and slices it over covers to pick up just a single.
That's the 20th six of this match. The most in a game this season.
19.4 Peter Hatzoglou to Will Sutherland, SIX MORE! 20 SIXES OF THE GAME! Length on the middle and off as Sutherland clears his front foot and CLUBBED It over deep mid-wicket again for another maximum!
19.3 Peter Hatzoglou to Will Sutherland, SIX! BOOM! Length delivery and in the slot for Sutherland who sits deep inside the crease and CLOBBERS it over deep mid-wicket fence for a maximum!
Not sure why he's got the demotion but Sam Harper is finally out in the middle.
