Aiden Markram (Player of the Match and Sunrisers captain): Well yes, not as convincing as we would have liked. Happy to get the win in the end. You need to give yourself a bit of time in the middle, we were going for the bonus point. So we will take some learning from that and doesn't make the mistakes again. Very pleased with the bowlers, they are showing character and good to see them going from strength to strength. Sometimes a rubbish bowler can do the job, just trying to squeeze in a few overs. They love it to be honest, you can't get taught about the tough situations It's nice to have them in our side.

David Miller (Paarl Royals captain)- We got close in the end. That was the chat before, just walk off the field with our heads high. We didn't score enough runs, it was tough for the bowlers but we fought back very well. I think T20 it's difficult because you are always looking to score. We lost two wickets early and couldn't quite string in partnerships. But today was just not good enough. The pitch was a bit tougher, did speed up slightly, was slightly slow in the afternoon but we expected a better score. We will look to come back strongly on Saturday. Big weekend for us and we have to come out all guns blazing.

This turned into a low scoring thriller, but still the Sunrisers got over the line with Jansen and Stubbs in the middle for them. They get 3 wins in a row.

Fortuin almost won it for the Royals, as he got 3 wickets in the 13th over and turned this match into a thriller. He almost got a fourth as well, which was a hat-trick. He then bowled a maiden after that as well. But no help from the others in the end and he ends up on the losing side. Ngidi helped him as he took 2 wickets early on in the 4th over and he bowled economically as well.

Rossington and Hermann started off to a flying start, but aqfter losing two quick wickets, Hermann and Markram got a brilliant partnership and put their side in the driving seat in this game. Even with the Fortuin mayhem, they got over the line easily. Stubbs and Jansen stayed on till the end and chase it down.

18.2 Codi Yusuf to Marco Jansen, SIX! That is game set and match. A lusty blow from Marco Jansen. A slot delivery from Codi Yusuf, Jansen gets down on one knee and comes out with a clean strike. Goes sailing well over the deep midwicket fence.

18.1 Codi Yusuf to Marco Jansen, FOUR! Jansen is such a sweet striker of the ball. On a length a shade outside off, Jansen bunts it on the ground and it races away past the mid-off fielder and off to the fence.

Just 7 required now, that six from Stubbs was a huge moment in this chase. He has made it much easier for them now.
