THE STREAK IS BROKEN!!!! THE HURRICANES ARE THE CULPRITS!! An excellent game this at the Docklands!
The proper ebbs and flows of T20 Cricket. Both teams were in the game right till the end. Some great power-hitting along with excellent pace bowling. All exhibited in this game by both teams.
The Hurricanes posted 177 on the board batting first, riding on a brilliant 83 off 54 by their skipper, Matthew Wade. However, it was Riley Meredith stealing the show tonight. Adjudged MOM, and rightly so. Every time, the Hobart Hurricanes called him upon to bail them out of a tough situation, he delivered. Pacey and right on the money!
There was a similar pattern to both innings, though. Both teams started well with the bat and then lost the way in those middle overs. Losing heaps of wickets in not many balls, them both. Sydney Thunder, with that start they got, would be very disappointed not having chased this down. Well, 'TheLaw of Averages' had to catch up at some point. They still stole the Boost Point though. For the Hurricanes, they would be mighty pleased by this win which further solidifies their position on the points table.
For now, we bid adieu. It is always wonderful to bring the game to all you amazing folks. But, you know it's a Double Header at the Big Bash and we at Sportskeeda bring it all!!
So, Stay with us and have a blast enjoying some more action from the Cricket.

19.4 Tom Rogers to Gurinder Sandhu, good length ball on off and middle. Drives the ball down to long-on for one
19.3 Tom Rogers to Gurinder Sandhu, OH! Dear, oh dear! Low full toss wide of off-stump. Sandhu gets the toe end of the bat and almost beats the fielder at short thirdman
19.2 Tom Rogers to Gurinder Sandhu, low full toss outside the off-stump. Carves it over the cover region and collects a brace
