UFC Hall of Famer José Aldo is a two-time former UFC featherweight champion with seven successful defenses. The former Brazilian champion was born on September 9, 1986, and competes in the bantamweight division (126–135 lbs.) of the UFC as of May 2025. Martial arts came to him through Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art; in his early years, he trained to protect himself on the streets.

He has a record of 32 wins and nine losses as of May 9, 2025, with eight of his nine losses coming in the UFC. He recently faced Mario Bautista in a losing cause. Aldo is now gearing up for his next fight against Aiemann Zahabi at UFC 315 on May 10, 2025.

Jose Aldo Kids

Jose Aldo has two kids: a daughter, Joanna, and a son, Jose Aldo III. Aldo married Vivianne Peireira in 2005, after dating for a while. They met at the gym, where Vivianne was training in Muay Thai and is also a BJJ blue belt. The couple's first child was born in 2012, a daughter named Joanna; a decade later, in 2022, Jose Aldo III was born.
