WWE Speed is a professional wrestling program produced by WWE that debuted on April 3, 2024, on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). The program features a unique format with all matches adhering to a three-minute time limit. The concept aims to cater to viewers with limited time by offering fast-paced, action-packed wrestling encounters. Each episode showcases established WWE superstars as well as rising talents, potentially creating new opportunities for wrestlers known for their high-flying abilities and quick maneuvers to shine.

History of WWE Speed

The concept for WWE Speed was originally tested back in December 2023, but after securing a partnership on February 8th, 2024, WWE announced Speed would officially launch today, April 3rd. There's an extra layer of excitement – a tournament will run alongside the show, crowning the first-ever WWE Speed Champion.

The program's debut has generated interest among fans, sparking discussions about its potential impact on the wrestling landscape. Some speculate that WWE Speed could serve as a platform to identify and develop future stars, while others question whether the condensed format can adequately showcase the storytelling and athleticism often associated with professional wrestling. As the program progresses, it will be interesting to observe how WWE Speed evolves and establishes itself within the broader WWE programming.

Where to watch WWE Speed?

WWE Speed can be watched exclusively on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). The show premiered on April 3, 2024, and is expected to be a recurring program. Since it's a new program, it's unclear yet whether WWE will offer the episodes on other platforms like their streaming service Peacock or their YouTube channel in the future. However, for now, all you'll need is an X account to catch all the action of these fast-paced, three-minute wrestling matches.

List WWE Speed Matches

The matches in WWE Speed will take place with a time-limit of three minutes. These will not be live matches and will be pre-taped prior to the programming of Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown.
