Indianapolis Colts’ main reason for shifting from Baltimore was that the stadium where they played was inadequate to host them. The Memorial Stadium in Baltimore was home to both the Colts and also the Baltimore Orioles of the MLB. Issues such as team revenue from the stadium also factored into the move of the Colts from Baltimore to Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Colts major jersey colors are royal blue and white. The jersey also features a gray and black outline. The Colts colors have been the same ever since they were originally established as the Baltimore Colts.
