MJF vs. Adam Cole or Roderick Strong
MJF has been feuding with Adam Cole for about a year now, and Cole sat on Dynamite to discuss about it. Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven from the Undisputed Kingdom interrupted the segment. Both Strong and Cole wanted to get their hands on MJF, and the former AEW World Champion asked the two stars to face each other in a best-of-three series of matches, and the winner of the two will get to face MJF at Full Gear.
Jay White vs. Hangman Page
Jay White and Hangman Page had a match at AEW WrestleDream where White defeated Page for the fourth time in his career, while Page so far has won only one bout between the two stars. Following his defeat at WrestleDream, Page continued his feud with White, interfering in White's match against Christian Cage on Dynamite. The next week, Page verbally attacked The Acclaimed before being attacked by Colten Gunn. However, White and Juice Robinson intervened, leaving Page injured. On October 26th, during a heated Collision episode, White defeated Shane Taylor and challenged Page to a grudge match at Full Gear on November 23rd, which was later confirmed.

AEW Full Gear History
In 2018, pro wrestlers such as Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega responded to a remark by journalist Dave Meltzer that no promotion other than WWE could sell 10000 tickets. They organized an event called All In, which sold more than 12000 tickets in less than 30 minutes. This became the stepping stone of something huge. In 2019, the superstars were met by Pakistani-American billionaire Tony Khan, who brought money on the table to kickstart a new professional wrestling promotion, which came to be known as All Elite Wrestling or simply AEW. AEW first revealed a Big Four PPV calender including Double or Nothing, All Out, Revolution and Full Gear. The first event of the latter took place in 2019. It is the only AEW event that traditionally takes place on Saturdays.
The event always takes place around The Veterans Day. The 2023 edition also took place on Saturday which collides with AEW Collision's timings. Thus, the weekly programming moved to Friday for this particular week and aired from Kia Forum only.
