That's it for now folks! Thank you so much for tuning in! your commentators for today, Rudransh and Tasmai Have a wonderful day!
DELHI EMERGE VICTORIOUS WITH 8 wickets and 19 BALLS TO SPARE!! An exceptional game of cricket comes to an end!! In all honesty, after that powerpacked powerplay, there was always only 1 winner in sight- and that was Delhi!! Priyansh Arya, showed glimpses of what Indian cricket has in store in the future, finishing as the highest scorer of the game, with a magnificent 51 of just 24 balls, while Krishnappa Gowtham bowled a neat spell of just 26 runs in 4 overs with a wicket to his name!
As fa as Karnataka is concerned, they missed the services of a wrist spinner in the middle overs, like how Delhi had Suyash Sharma. They also lacked a quickfire start like what Priyansh Arya and Anuj Rawat gave Delhi, by putting the bowlers under immense pressure from the get go! For Karnataka to progress in the tournament, Mayank Agarwal and Padikkal are of utmost importance.
Abhinav Manohar clobbering the bowlers, like he did, is a huge takeaway for Karnataka, who also need Pandey to strike at a better strike rate. Ishant Sharma was extremely impressive with the ball, and the way he got it to move initially and the way he set up Padikkal with those outswingers and then the last ball of the over angled inwards to rattle the stumps, just showed why he had donned the cap for the country more than 100 times!
Overall an impeccable game of cricket comes to an end, with Delhi being the more dominant side!
16.5 Vidwath Kaverappa to Yash Dhull, THAT'S IT! Good length on the off-stump, Dhull just pushes it down the ground for a single! DELHI TAKE A MASSIVE WIN BY EIGHT WICKETS!
16.4 Vidwath Kaverappa to Ayush Badoni, full on the off-stump, driven to long on for a single
16.3 Vidwath Kaverappa to Yash Dhull, good length ball on the middle, dabbed to deep mid-wicket for a single
16.2 Vidwath Kaverappa to Ayush Badoni, full on the pads, clipped to square leg for a single
16.1 Vidwath Kaverappa to Yash Dhull, good length on the pads, clipped to deep mid-wicket for a single
Kaverappa to continue Despite it being a T20 game, nice to see Dhull take some time and get set, so that he has some game time behind him to be able to play some shots in the next game. A technically very sound player! His trigger movement onto the off stump is very resemblant to that of Virat Kohli's, that gives him options on both, the leg and the off side.
