Will Jacks | Player of the Match: Very lucky to get a win. You don't need to overhit the ball here and we probably tried to overhit the ball last 2 games and got our plans right tonight. You find a plan and stick to it and tonight's the night it came off

Wayne Parnell: It was much-needed for us. Not unhappy with the score we got as we know if we bowl decently well, we have a chance. There is a little bit of variable bounce and it was more of a new ball wicket for the batters. The message is clear, just go out and express yourselves. I'm more process-driven and if you don't execute on a particular day, I'm not too fussed about it.

Keshav Maharaj - The bowlers in the middle and towards the back end gave us a good chance. When guys are going like that, we try to slow the tempo but they got the better of us, fairplay to them. Junior and Stoinis bowled really well at the back end. We can take a lot of positives in this game. We have world-class performers in our team and it's all about back to basics in the next game

First win of the season for Capitals! A hiccup on the road for the Super Giants, it does not hurt their journey too much, given their strong start to the campaign. What would please the Capitals fans most is that they have made an upward charge in the ladder. They move up to the fifth spot, handing the wooden spoon to Johannesburg Super Kings.

This would be marked as the match where Will Jacks left an impression with both bat and ball as he kept compounding the problems for his opponents tonight. His timely strikes with ball in hand only led to the strong Durban middle order to feel that urgency and force the pace of their innings - something that never really came off for them.

Durban Super Giants suffer their initial defeat, and they may regret not preserving wickets for the slog overs. This strategy could have allowed them to successfully chase the target of 205 on this pitch. Stay tuned for post-match reactions.
