07:44 PM local time (5:15 AM IST): England dominated in all three departments of the game, 2-0 up in the away series against the West Indies, who require a lot of rectifications in their game to bounce back in the five-match T20I series. Rovman Powell [West Indies captain]: To bat first on a wicket that favoured fast bowlers; a trend here in Barbados, teams generally bowl after winning the toss because it's tough to bat in the first six overs. I think it's just the case of us trying to not come out of the powerplay three wickets down. Both games, we came out of the powerplay, three wickets down and statistically if you come out of the powerplay three or more down, majority of the times you end up on the losing side. That's something we have to adjust as a batting side. It's just the case of somebody in the top four-five batting majority of the overs. You know, in the past we have done that and in this series, for the first two games, we have struggled to do that. Another three games provides opportunity for one of our batters in the top four, top five to produce a long innings. That's something we always think and as a captain that's something I always try to rectify (bowling after the Powerplay). We have been off the mark in all three departments of the game in the first two games. St. Lucia provides a new challenge. Hopefully our guys will be ready as the series is still on the line. It's hard--that determination to not go 3-0 down; you already are 2-0 down. If you find a way to 2-1, you set up the series nicely and it's still in our hands.

Jos Buttler [England Captain and Player of the Match]: "It was great to spend some time in the middle. It was a bit scratchy to start off. But happy to get some runs. (On batting at number 3) I have loads of experience. Have batted in different positions. At number three, you can come in second ball or outside the powerplay. (On Will Jacks) He's got unbelievable talent. He can play some unbelievable shots that not many others can. Today, he played it smart. He is an important player for us going forward. On this ground, bowling first seems like an advantage. There was some swing on offer and Jofra and Saqib bowled really well. Mousley is a real competitor. He wants to bowl the difficult overs, wants to stand in the hotspots and is a pretty good batter too. Now we have to start all over again. We are playing against a top side and cannot take them lightly.

The visitors go 2-0 up in the five match series, courtesy of Jos Buttler's firepower and his comrade Will Jacks's companionship to which Rovman Powell and co had no response for a substantial period.

England had a bad start to their innings with Phil Salt losing his wicket on the maiden ball of the innings from Akeal Hosein. Captain Jos Buttler then led from the front along with Will Jacks to settle down the innings and took the scoreboard to 56 runs with the loss of a wicket at the end of the powerplay, well ahead in comparison to West Indies who were 44/3.

Jacks and Buttler played the two subsequent overs cautiously, followed with a helter-skelter show from the skipper to cruise England over 100 runs. The two batters stitched 129 runs for the second wicket that was taken by Romario Shepherd. Later in the over, Buttler was dismissed at a score of 83 runs, however, it was too late for the team in Maroon. It left Liam Livingstone with ceremonial honours of finishing the game and he rightly did it in some style.

West Indies bowlers lacked conviction unlike their counterparts who were disciplined for large part of the game and reaped wickets at regular intervals, keeping the scoreboard under control. Saqib Mahmood, Dan Mousley and Liam Livingstone picked a couple wickets each. For good, the 29 extras conceded by England did not hurt them, as Buttler and Jacks covered up pretty well.

Livingstone finishes it off in style with two fours and a maximum

14.5 Romario Shepherd to Liam Livingstone, FINISHES IT WITH FLAMBOYANCE! Shepherd was looking for a yorker. He ends up bowling a low full toss and Livingstone sends the ball sailing over the extra cover boundary. Yet another stupendous strike from an England batter! Sort of sums up the night. England win by 7 wickets with 31 balls remaining.

14.4 Romario Shepherd to Liam Livingstone, FOUR MORE!! Length ball, outside off. Livingstone stands tall and slashes at the width. It flies over the infield, bounces once and then goes over the ropes.

14.3 Romario Shepherd to Liam Livingstone, CRUNCHED!! That is a confident shot from Livingstone. Full, outside off. He deploys an inside out drive and pierces the gap between deep cover and long-off.

14.2 Romario Shepherd to Jacob Bethell, back of a length, pace-off, finishes outside off. Bethell waits for the ball to arrive before pulling it towards deep midwicket.

14.1 Romario Shepherd to Liam Livingstone, YORKER!! But Livingstone plays it smart. He jams the bat down to dig it out and they scamper through for one as the ball trickles away towards point.
