Andrew Armstrong is a collegiate football wide receiver who formerly played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2023 to 2024. Previously, he played for the Texas A&M–Commerce Lions football program from 2019 to 2022. Armstrong hails from Dallas, Texas, and attended Bishop Dunne Catholic School. On December 4, 2024, he declared for the 2025 NFL Draft via his Instagram account (@drew.bandz). At the NFL Scouting Combine, his Next Gen Stats score of 69 ranked 32nd among wide receivers, according to NFL's official website.

Armstrong committed to the Texas A&M–Commerce Lions football program in 2019. He was redshirted that season and did not participate in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, he played 10 games and accumulated 15 receptions for 297 yards and three touchdowns. His breakout year came in 2022, when he caught 62 passes for 1,020 yards and 13 touchdowns across 11 games. For his performance, he was named First-Team All-Southland Conference and was selected to the HERO Sports Sophomore All-American team. In 2023, Armstrong transferred to the Arkansas Razorbacks, where he played until the 2024 season. In his first season with Arkansas, he led the team with 56 receptions for 764 yards and five touchdowns over 12 games, as recorded by Sports Reference. He received recognition as a Fourth-Team All-SEC selection by Phil Steele. In 2024, he led the SEC with 78 receptions for 1,140 yards and added a touchdown. He was a First-Team All-SEC selection by the Associated Press and Phil Steele in 2024, according to Arkansas Razorbacks' official website.

Andrew Armstrong is the son of Kaprisha and Arthur Armstrong. He has four siblings: Adonis Armstrong, Mark’ll Walker, Arthur Armstrong Jr., and Ariel Peterson, according to Arkansas Razorbacks' official website. However, there is no viable information about his father's profession on the internet.
