IPL 2024 Auction Rules
Like Punjab Kings, all other 9 teams of IPL had to follow the following list of rules while participating in the auction that happened in Dubai:
The highest number of players in an IPL squad is 25. The minimum number of players in a squad is 18 players.
All teams have to compulsorily use 75% of their auction purse for IPL 2024.
Trading window for IPL 2024 will open on December 20. All teams are allowed to execute trades, depending on the approvals from the respective officials.

Punjab Kings only had INR 29.1 crore in the IPL 2024 Auction when they entered the auction. They used around INR 16 crore to sign the two ace pace bowlers Harshal Patel and Chris Woakes, who will play in the Punjab team in 2024 now.
