Keshav Maharaj [Durban Super Giants captain]: "The conditions kept us believing. We know at Kingsmead, it is never really over till it's over. You can loose wickets in clusters. Though we will like to take a few at the start at not leave it till the end. This win shows the character of the team. We started off shaky but pulled it back. The love and support we get from the fans both on and off the field is amazing. Hopefully we can bring the trophy back to Durban. Noor came in, took the wickets and the rest backed him well. The way Wiaan Mulder has grown has been heartening to see."
Rilee Rossouw [Pretoria Capitals captain]: Towards the end we lost track what we needed to chase. I don't think we were in the game in the first innings, it's a tough ask to chase 200 on this track. Credit to Jacks and Gurbaz for playing an unbelievable innings. If you looked at the wicket, we thought 160 or 170 would've been good, it's always tough in second innings in Durban. Needed to come in with all guns blazing, we did that. Boys needed to do this from long time, hopefully I can direct the boys into right direction.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: To be honest, happy with my performance but really disappointed with the result, hopefully we can come back next game and turn things around. Partnership was good, result was not in our favour. Hope we can continue to do the good things, should've finished the game. Always Noor gets me out, I try to him but he's one of the best bowlers in this format. Unfortunately he got me out today.

Durban Super Giants have pulled off a hiest. About half an hour ago, Pretoria Capitals fans were calculating the possibility of winning with a bonus point. They were 154/0 and needed just 66 to win in 8 overs. And then, the game turned on its head.
Noor Ahmad was the protagonist. He got the better of his national team mate Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who until then had been slamming pretty much every other ball out of the park. Thus, began the choke. The Capitals went from looking like a racecar cruising to the finish line to an old broken down vehicle stuttering at every step of the way. In the end, they fell short by just two runs.
Earlier in the evening, the Super Giants had put up a big score on the board on the back of four commendable knocks. Kane Williamson top scored with a half century, while WiaanMulder's 19-ball-45 took them beyond 200. The other two cameos came off the bat of the two openers — Matthew Breetzke and Bryce Parsons. For the Capitals, Senuran Muthusamy returned 3/21 and was the pick of the bowlers, while Livingstone got the big wicket of Heinrich Klaasen.
Though, we all thought that the visitors were going to gun down the target with a few overs to spare when Will Jacks and Gurbaz stitched together that record breaking opening stand. But what do they say about sports? "It is never really over until it is over." Special mention to Chris Woakes who picked up two timely wickets to further shift the momentum and to Naveen ul Haq and Keshav Maharaj who held their nerves through the final overs.

Absolute drama in the last 30 minutes or so, Super GIants have plucked the game out of the jaws of defeat, unreal stuff this is! Back of a length into the batter, Stolk needed to connect with a swipe but he doesn't, all they get is a leg-bye. Agony for Capitals as they lose this game from a winning position.
