There is a bit more carry and bounce, so England should enjoy it more. But, there is a deceptive piece to the puzzle too! Suryakumar Yadav [India captain]: It was a brilliant contest between bat and ball! And the support from this crowd was excellent! We did not start well, the boys know what brand of cricket we want to play, so, we were disappointed. But Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya were there to get the job done for us. We are batting with intent these days, so, we don't want to break that momentum. Even when we bowled, right after the power play, we had to get some wickets and we did that courtesy our spinners to make it tough. That worked well. I think we can expect some fireworks in Mumbai next!

Jos Buttler [England captain]: Started brilliantly, taking lots of wickets in the powerplay and the end of it we were in great position, but should've won in the end. It's disappointing, we did a lot of good things, but some we paid for it as we dropped Dube, but with the bat we were in a fantastic position and gave it away. Just double down how we want to play, we need to commit more, when we do that the results go our way.

Harshit Rana: It's still a dream debut for me. When Dube came back, I was told that I'll be going in as concussion sub on the field. The effort was there for a long time, the moment came today and I was able to deliver for the team. In IPL I bowled a lot at death, that came to help today.

Having scored over 60 runs in the power play, losing only one wicket, and having Harry Brook play exceptionally to get to 50 later on, England will feel absolutely gutted at having lost this game! On the flip side, the Indian team bowled and fielding brilliantly to keep chipping away with wickets just when the need came. Of course, the captaincy from Suryakumar Yadav was top-class too!

Pace on up front was travelling, and so, the prompt decision to go to spin brought about the wicket of Ben Duckett off the last ball of the power play. After that, wickets kept falling and partnerships were not formed.

Then came the call to replace Shivam Dube with Harshit Rana as his concussion substitute and it created murmurs in the England camp! They were unhappy with this move. Harshit too made it count, with a wicket off his second delivery in T20Is!

But his second over went for plenty, to once again change the complexion of the innings. However, the home side, in front of a euphoric home crowd, came right back into the mix! Harry Brook and Jamie Overton had it in them to take the visitors home, but some poor shots played and surprising choices made, brought India back in the contest for good!

There was no dew tonight and we had a proper, roller-coaster of a game! There were lots of ebbs and flows but in the end, the Indian team registered their 17th consecutive T20 series win at home, with a game to go!

Banged into the track, Mahmood pulled it to deep mid-wicket, SKY runs in and takes a simple catch. India hold on to their nerve, England would think they've thrown this game away when they were bossing at one stage.
