Tilak Varma made his first-class debut for Hyderabad against Andhra Pradesh in December 2018. He has played 16 matches and has been consistent with the bat, amassing 1059 runs at an average of 50.42, with four centuries to his name.
Varma made his List-A debut for Hyderabad against Saurashtra in September 2019. He has an impressive List-A record, consisting of 1304 runs in 29 matches at a magnificent average of 52.16, including 5 centuries with a personal best of 156*.
