That's it from today's coverage of SA20. So, we have the four playoff teams decided but before that we still have some league matches left to decide the final standings. Until then, this is Meeth Agrawal signing off alongside my co-commentator Rajarshi.
Rashid Khan (MI Cape Town captain): Happy with the way we played. More important for us. I am pleased with the way we played after two bad years. We had a couple of changes to make sure our players are well rested before the big game. We want to keep the standard high. It's a challenge for us. It's not a miracle that we just came on top of the table. Our performance shows that we are capable. It doesn't matter if you are playing a group stage game or a semi-final, we just play our best and enjoy. It was just another day for us to display good cricket in all 3 departments.
Kyle Verreynne (Pretoria Capitals captain): A tough one. A bit disappointing. If you look with the ball we gave away 15-20 runs more. Disappointing, it was a good wicket but we missed our chance. We struggled to get momentum throughout the season. Our first five games came in 8-9 days. From personal POV, there are a lot of young guys and if we win our last game, it will give confidence to them.
Dewald Brevis has been adjudged Player Of The Match! Here's what he has to say: For us to have a few wins on the bounce and play beautiful cricket, I'm so excited for the boys. We played great as a team, it's even better off the field. I just have the opportunity to thank God, if it wasn't for him, this would never have been possible. I've been working really hard, in the off-time, when people don't realize, there's quite some time where you graft, speak to the people about the game, just do the extra, and the most important thing is to enjoy the game and play with a smile. I'm playing the way I played when I was a little boy, there was a time in my career when I listened quite a bit, you try too many things, try to be clever, but now I'm watching the ball better. Always a special place, it's Pretoria, I love it here. The support of the fans was really great and it was great to get a W with the team.
09:42 PM Local Time, 01:12 AM IST: MI Cape Town win by 27 runs
A complete team performance from MI Cape Town sees them climb to the top of the table while also ending Pretoria Capitals' playoff hopes. The Capitals now join Durban's Super Giants in being eliminated, confirming the four playoff teams, MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Joburg Super Kings, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Only the final standings remain to be decided.
Having already qualified for the playoffs, MI Cape Town took the field with the aim of securing the top spot, and their batters delivered in style. They got a positive start from openers Ryan Rickelton and Rassie van der Dussen.
The real fireworks, however, came in the final 10 overs. Dewald Brevis walked in alongside Reeza Hendricks and launched an assault on the Capitals' bowling attack. The 20-year-old sensation blasted 73 off just 32 balls*. Hendricks, at the other end, played the perfect foil scoring 77& off 44, ensuring MICT reached a mammoth 222/3.
Kyle Verreynne shuffled his bowlers, but nothing worked as Brevis and Hendricks put together an unbeaten 142-run unbeaten stand.
Chasing 223, Pretoria Capitals needed a quick start, and they got just that. Will Jacks and Will Smeed came out with intent, and despite losing Steve early to Boult, the duo counter-attacked brilliantly.
Boult’s sixth over proved expensive, helping the Capitals reach 67/1 at the end of the powerplay. The chase was well and truly on, but just as the partnership was flourishing, MICT captain Rashid Khan introduced himself into the attack, and the momentum shifted.
Rashid applied the perfect squeeze, making run-scoring difficult. The pressure got to Jacks, who tried to take on Corbin Bosch. Rashid then got rid of opposition captain Kyle Verreynne in front, leaving Capitals in trouble.
Brevis then chipped in with the ball, dismissing Smeed and running out Ashton Turner, who was striking the ball well. Keagan Lion-Cachet tried his best, but the target was just too steep. For the Capitals, this loss means they are officially eliminated from playoff contention.
Hang on for the presentations...

19.6 Delano Potgieter to Tom Stewart Rogers, GLORIOUS STRIKE TO END THE MATCH! Full and wide of off stump, Rogers holds his shape, frees his arms and carves this over the extra cover boundary. That's of little relevance, though - MI Cape Town take this one by 27 runs, and the Pretoria Capitals are out of contention for the playoffs!
19.5 Delano Potgieter to Tom Stewart Rogers, slow, back of a length outside off. Rogers, early onto it, flat-bats this back to the bowler
19.4 Delano Potgieter to Kegan Lion Cachet, low full toss outside off, Lion-Cachet muscles this down towards long on. One more
19.3 Delano Potgieter to Tom Stewart Rogers, full, close to the blockhole around off. Rogers swings at it, gets an inside edge towards short fine. Just one
