Joshua Patrick Allen, popularly known as Josh Allen is an American Football quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. The 6 ft 5 in signal caller was a seventh overall selection by the Buffalo Bills in the 2018 draft. The Bills traded up from the 12th overall pick to the seventh spot with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Firebaugh native is a two-time Pro Bowler and 2020 Second-team All-Pro in his four seasons as a Bill. Allen, who grew up a Fresno State Bulldogs fan, tried to draw interest from that program, however, he received no offer letter from them or any of the other NCAA Division Programs. Allen entered the Reedley College program in 2014 and played for one season with them. He threw for 26 touchdown passes that year. He committed to the Wyoming Cowboys next season, where he played three years from 2015 to 2017. His start with the Cowboys did not go as anticipated as he suffered a broken collarbone in his second game and missed the entire year. However, in the next two years, he started 25 games and threw for more than 5,000 yards during that span. Allen totaled 56 touchdowns through ground and air in those two seasons.
