DeAndre Hopkins is an American football wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs as of the 2024 NFL season. He was selected by the Houston Texans with the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Before being traded to the Chiefs in October 2024, Hopkins played for the Texans (2013-2019), Arizona Cardinals (2020–2022), and Tennessee Titans (2023–2024). He is a three-time First-team All-Pro, two-time Second-team All-Pro, and five-time Pro Bowler. He also led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 2017 and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2013.
Born in Clemson, South Carolina, DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins attended D. W. Daniel High School in Central, South Carolina, where he played high school football. According to Clemson's official website, Hopkins recorded 57 receptions for 1,266 yards, 28 career interceptions for 555 yards and 18 touchdowns in his high school career.
