Having gone undrafted in the 2012 NFL draft, Tucker signed with the Ravens as a free agent and then proceeded to become the designated starting kicker. Appearing in and winning a Super Bowl in his rookie season in 2012, Tucker is regarded as one of the best kickers in the NFL. As of January 2025, he has made 417 out of 468 field goal attempts, with an 89.1% success rate, scoring 1,775 points, achieving the longest field goal of 66 yards, and recording 756 touchbacks as per Pro Football Reference. Tucker also holds the record for the longest field goal made in the NFL, a 66-yard long game-winner against the Detroit Lions in the 2021 NFL Season.
