Due to injuries that prevented him from reaching his full potential, the Eagles finally moved him to the Indianapolis Colts. He was then traded to the Washington Commanders after just one year with the Colts.

However, ever since he left the Eagles he has been moving around year after year and after his one-year stint with the Commanders, he joined the Los Angeles Rams for the 2023 season as a backup to Matthew Stafford.
