Seth McLaughlin is an American football center from Ohio State University. He previously played for the University of Alabama. He is a Buford, Georgia, and attended Buford High School. McLaughlin joined the Alabama Crimson Tide football program in 2020 and spent four seasons with them. He appeared in 35 games for the Crimson Tide and started 24. During the 2022 season, he played 11 games, starting eight, and he had a key role in Alabama's offensive success, which averaged 41.1 points and 477.1 yards per game. He transferred to the Buckeyes in 2024.
He started 10 games before suffering a season-ending Achilles heel injury in November. Despite the injury, he won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center and was named a Consensus All-American.
