Sunday Night Football schedule for the 2024–25 NFL season is finally out, with the official NFL schedule released on May 15, 2024. As fans are eagerly waiting for the new season to get underway, which is still quite a few months away, they can start planning their Sunday night schedules as early as May.

NFC team games broadcast rights belong to FOX

Interconference games meaning AFC teams vs NFC teams broadcast rights are given to the away team’s network. (Meaning, if the away team belongs to the AFC, then CBS will broadcast the game, and vice-versa).

The upside for NBC is that Sunday Night Football is considered a primetime slot and that gives the channel exclusive rights to host these games for the entire duration of the NFL season.

Sunday Night Football Kickoff Time

Sunday Night Football kickoff time is generally 8:20 p.m. Eastern time, live on NBC and its streaming platform Peacock which provides viewers more than one option to watch the games. As this is a prime time slot, there is little to no change in the time of the games for the entirety of the NFL season.

However, it is worth noting that despite the fact that the 2024 Sunday Night Football schedule is out, a few of these games may get flexed depending on how the NFL sees fit. Therefore, it is important to watch games that may be flexed, especially towards the mid to later stages of the season.

The Cowboys vs 49ers game will kick off at 8:20 pm Eastern live from Levi’s Field. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC.
