The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will take place across the Caribbean Islands and the United States of America between June 02-29, 2024. And India squad for T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced by BCCI. The tri-color nation has announced a strong and balanced line-up for the upcoming mega-event set to get kicked-off from 2nd June.
The 20-team showpiece event will see sides get divided into four different groups. Each team will lock horns with the reminding sides of their group once.
The top-two teams from each group will advance to the Super-8 stage, where teams will be divided into two groups of four. The top-two sides from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will take place in Guyana and Trinidad on June 27 while the summit clash will take place at Bridgetown, Barbados, on June 29.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Tuesday, announced the 15-men India squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Rohit Sharma will lead Team India Squad that consists of star players like Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, SuryaKumar Yadav in the batting department. Dynamic opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has earned a call-up to the touring party, as has middle-order batter Shivam Dube, who has been in amazing form in the ongoing IPL.
However, Rinku Singh has been shockingly omitted from the 15-men squad, with the Uttar Pradesh batter getting relegated to the travelling reserves, alongside Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan, and Shubman Gill.
Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel have been named as the spin-bowling all-rounders while Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav have been picked as the main spinners.
The pace department, which will be led by the legendary Jasprit Bumrah, boasts of the likes of Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj.
