The ninth chapter of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will take place across the Caribbean Islands and in the United States of America (USA) between June 02-29, 2024.
The 20-side showpiece event will see sides get divided into four different groups. Each team will lock horns with the remaining sides of their group once.
The top two sides from each group will qualify for the Super-8 stage, where teams will be divided into two groups of four. The top two sides from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will take place in Guyana and Trinidad on June 27 while the titular clash will take place at Bridgetown, Barbados, on June 29.

The 2024 T20 World Cup Champions Australia has named a power-packed 15-men squad for the ninth edition of the marquee event.
The Men in Green and Gold will be led by all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and boasts of tried-and-tested names in the batting department, such as David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, Travis Head, Tim David, Matthew Wade, and Marcus Stoinis.
Josh Inglis has been named as the 2nd wicketkeeper while young sensation Jack Fraser-McGurk failed to get a ticket to the Caribbean islands despite a great show in IPL 2024. Similarly, veteran batter Steven Smith has also been left out of the touring party.
Ashton Agar, who missed the 2023 World Cup due to injury, has returned to the set-up and will partner experienced wrist-spinner Adam Zampa in the spin department.
The pace arena will be led by the trio of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood, while Nathan Ellis will serve as a middle and death-over specialist.
