The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will take place across the Caribbean Islands and the United States of America between June 02-29, 2024.
The 20-team showpiece event will see sides get divided into four different groups. Each team will lock horns with the reminding sides of their group once.
The top-two teams from each group will advance to the Super-8 stage, where teams will be divided into two groups of four. The top-two sides from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will take place in Guyana and Trinidad on June 27 while the summit clash will take place at Bridgetown, Barbados, on June 29.

South Africa have announced a power-packed 15-men squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Led by Aiden Markram, the Proteas boasts of a dynamic batting-unit, which consists of names such as Quinton de Kock, Henrich Klaasen, David Miller, Ryan Rickelton, Reeza Hendricks, and Tristan Stubbs.
The experienced duo of Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi will lead the spin-bowling department, alongside Bjorn Fortuin.
The pace arena consists of usual suspects like Anrich Nortje, Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, Gerald Coetzee, while uncapped Ottniel Baartman has also earned a call-up.
