Charith Asalanka is the Player of the Series!: "I don't believe in a secret formula for success. My goal is simple: to score substantial hundreds for the team and then rely on our bowlers to deliver crucial breakthroughs. Today's pitch offered limited bounce, but our opponents still managed to bowl impressively. Fortunately, it was our day, and we delivered a consistent performance. As a batter, I don't think about my captaincy responsibilities; I just focus on my role as the number 5 batter. Rather than dwelling on past disappointments, I'm excited to look forward to a brighter future for Sri Lankan cricket."

Steve Smith (Captain Australia): "Our team was outperformed by Sri Lanka in the last two matches. Despite rotating several players, we couldn't match their excellence. Kusal Mendis is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: "Very happy about my innings. It was tough initially with the new ball, Nishan supported well at the other end. Middle overs and at the end I was able to cash in. Bit different from the last one, little bit slow and turn earlier. We all three handled it well in the middle. We fought hard at the start, the middle overs we worked through, then Charith came and played brilliantly."

Maheesh Theekshana: I'm really happy with the collective performance. We wanted to win both the games, as a team we're very happy. The wicket was littler bit better than last game, thought we need to bowl more tight overs. We saw that there wasn't much spin when they batted, our plan was to bowl in the right areas. One leg-spinner and the left-arm bowler did the job for us. Asalanka scored century in the last game, he continued his form in this game as well.
