About NFL Week 18 Schedule 2024-25
The NFL week 18 schedule is very unique since all games will be played over the weekend as per the league’s disclosure. The timing of the games is not yet finalized but that will be decided later on as the season progresses.
As per the NFL schedule week 18, all games will also be divisional matchups. Since the results of the many games in the last week of the regular season can alter the playoffs to a great extent, divisional matchups provide more intensity and the sense of rivalry games bring about a much more enjoyable atmosphere.
Week 18 prominent games
Since the exact timetable for week 18 is not yet disclosed, we do not have an idea of when the teams will take the field. However, there are still some exciting matchups that will have fans all geared up before the postseason gets underway.
Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens
The Cleveland Browns have a week 18 meeting with the Baltimore Ravens. We should expect nothing less than a fiercely fought encounter between the two teams and if playoff spots or seeding is on the line then the game will be an absolute joy to watch.
This will be the last chance of the regular season for stars from both sides to show their worth and if the teams are not resting any key players then Myles Garrett of the Browns and Lamar Jackson of the Ravens will be a key contest to keep an eye on.
Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers
One of the fiercest rivalry games in the entire league is this big week 18 matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. While the Bears have been on the losing end for several years, things could be about to change with Caleb Williams taking over the reins in the ‘Windy City’ that is Chicago. Williams has a lot of talent surrounding him and it will be interesting to see how he and the Bears can finish their first season.
On the other side, the Packers have had a season with Jordan Love under center and things are looking bright for the team as a whole.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Las Vegas Raiders
The NFL week 18 schedule has revealed yet another divisional game that may have a lot riding on it. The Kansas City Chiefs have dominated the AFC West over the past few years and so the other teams have found it difficult to grab a spot in the postseason. However, the Las Vegas Raiders were looking like a much better team towards the end of last season. They could very well be in the run to make the playoffs in 2024-25.
As for the Los Angeles Chargers, their biggest upgrade comes in the form of head coach Jim Harbaugh who is fresh off a CFP National Championship with the Michigan Wolverines and has also done great things in the NFL in the past when he led the San Francisco 49ers to an appearance in Super Bowl XLVII. Thus, there is every possibility that the Chargers could also find themselves in the race for the playoffs this year.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The AFC North once again makes an appearance in week 18 with the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The AFC North is a very tough division and all four teams have a legitimate chance of making the postseason. However, divisional matchups will be key to who goes through and who doesn’t, therefore this game could also be a potentially season-deciding game for both teams.
New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Looking at the NFC South, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints are probably the most favored teams in the division to challenge one another for the top spot in the division. The Atlanta Falcons may have a say in this but at least on paper, the Saints and the Bucs are looking like the better teams. The team that goes through could very well be decided at the end of this game.
