Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence is relatively new to the NFL. The 23-year-old from Knoxville, Tennessee, however, is expected to have a good career down the road. Lawrence, though born in Knoxville, was brought up in Cartersville, Georgia where he spent most of his childhood and teenage life. Trevor is a stoic and tall 6-foot 6-inch quarterback weighing 213 pounds. With a keen interest in football from his early years, Trevor went on to attend Clemson University where he played his college football for the Clemson Tigers.

Before joining Clemson, Trevor was studying at Cartersville High School where he dominated on the field winning 41 consecutive games from his sophomore year to his senior year. Along with that, he won 2 state championships as well as 4 regional titles. There was no doubt about his capabilities as a quarterback coming out of high school and was a deserving five-star recruit.

At Clemson, Lawrence again had three very productive years. In only his Freshman year, he led the Tigers to the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2019. Continuing the good work he built on his freshman year and was drafted with the first pick in the 2021 NFL draft.

As the Jaguars' signal caller for the past two years, Lawrence has seen his side turn things around from the 3-14 record in 2021 to the 9-8 winning season in 2022. Behind the work and ability demonstrated by Trevor, the Jaguars won their first playoff game in 2022 since the 2017 season. The future is bright for the long-haired quarterback. Trevor Lawrence was born as the second child on October 6, 1999, to parents Jeremy Lawrence and Amanda Lawrence. Trevor was born in the city of Knoxville, Tennessee. When he was just around 5 years old, the family had to relocate to Cartersville as his father’s company shifted their base. Both of Trevor’s parents have provided constant support and encouragement to Trevor along his path towards the NFL.

In 2019, after Trevor Lawrence won the National Championship with Clemson, his parents were asked to sit for a short interview with David Franklin who runs the Cartersville UNCUT Youtube channel. During that interview, Jeremy Lawrence mentioned that he came from a small town in Greenville, Virginia. He went to East Tennessee State University and that was where he met his future wife Amanda. Jeremy is an environmental safety manager at a steel plant.

When talking about Trevor, Jeremy recalled that his son liked to play all sports even though basketball was probably the one sport that was most fun for him. Jeremy realized that Trevor was athletically gifted sometime during his middle school years, and has encouraged his son all these years. He also hired Trevor his trainer while in middle school which was a big boon when he started playing in college. On many instances, Jeremy has supported Trevor on his Twitter account and is socially active in his support for his secondborn.

Trevor’s mother also spoke a little bit about herself and then about her son Trevor in the same interview with David, stating that her early days were spent in Johnson City, Kingsport area of Tennessee. Amanda is a nurse practitioner for Harvin Clinic’s Ear, Nose and Throat department. His mother said that Trevor was always an active child with high energy, always running around and into sports from a young age.

Jeremy and Amanda are proud parents to not just Trevor but two more kids. Their firstborn is also a son, Chase, who is four years older than Trevor. The couple also have one daughter, Olivia the youngest child who is eleven years younger than Trevor.

Chase Lawrence, the oldest sibling, is in the creative field. He is an excellent painter by profession. Both brothers share some facial similarities as well as long blond hair, but Trevor is much taller than his brother. Chase runs the Brooke Chase Studio with his wife Brooke who herself is an art student. The pair bonded naturally through their common interest in art which led to their marriage in 2020.
