Who are Novak Djokovic’s Parents?

Novak Djokovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, on May 22, 1987, to father Srdjan Djokovic and mother Dijana Djokovic. He has Serbian ancestors on his father’s side and Croatian ancestors on his mother’s side. Novak has two younger brothers Marko Djokovic and Djordje Djokovic, who also played professional tennis but did not reach the level as their older brother. Genic worked with Novak for six years before sending him abroad in search of an increased level of competition which was the best option for his future. The Serbian joined the Pilic Tennis Academy in Germany which was owned by former US Open Champion and French Open runner-up Nikola Pilic. At the age of 14, Novak began his international career and won singles, doubles, and team competitions across European Nations.
