Taylor Fritz is an American No. 1 tennis player who tends to give tough competition to his competitors with his fine form across all tennis surfaces. He is ranked world number 4 (career-high) in the ATP singles rankings as of November 2024. Fritz is famous for his two-handed backhand, which is so powerful that close to no opponent can beat it.

He has won eight ATP titles, including the 2024 Eastbourne Open, 2024 Delray Beach Open, 2023 Atlanta Open, and even secured a win for America at the United Cup in 2023. At the 2024 Delray Beach, Fritz defeated compatriot Tommy Paul and successfully defended his title.

Taylor Fritz reached back-to-back quarterfinals at the 2023 Miami Open and the 2023 Indian Wells. He played the longest match in the 30-year history of the Abierto Mexicano Telcel against compatriot Tommy Paul at the 2023 Mexican Open.

Fritz registered his best performance in Grand Slams at the 2024 US Open, where he reached the final. Unfortunately, the home favorite lost to Jannik Sinner in straight sets. He reached his first Grand Slam final, defeating Frances Tiafoe, Alexander Zverev, and Casper Ruud

After making it to his first clay-court final at the 2024 Bavarian International, Fritz reclaimed his top spot in the American rankings. However, he lost to Jan-Lennard Struff in the final. He advanced to his second Masters semifinal after defeating Francisco Cerundolo in the quarterfinal of the 2024 Madrid Open. With the win, he achieved his 250th career win and became the sixth athlete born in 1995 or later to reach this milestone.
