Faf du Plessis (captain, St Lucia Kings): Guys like Sammy have waited for 10-12 years to taste this moment. I have always wanted to deliver a trophy for this franchise. It is a difficult place to play the finals and in the last two games, we beat them. I would have liked this a little bit easier but it was a bit of a low-scoring thriller. It was a good total, I felt that we could back up and chasing 138 we had positive discussions in the dressing room. In a way, we were there and there about but they made a comeback with the ball in hand. We have been saying throughout the tournament that one of the batters will have an opportunity. The way Chase and Jones chased it down was incredible. In a chase, everyone wants to go bang and we lost wickets. We thought the game was gone and the chat was to not to leave the game late. The message sent to Jones was to go after the bowling and then he went about business as usual. If you look at the team, we have played really well and different guys at different stages have raised their hands. The emotion in St. Lucia was on a high after the Olympic Gold and we are really happy to give them something more to cheer

Imran Tahir (captain, Guyana Amazon Warriors): We didn't start well and lost wickets at regular intervals. The total was not on par with dew coming later in the game. We played well throughout and congratulations to St. Lucia. I would have bowled first as well, we could have chased down a total with the spinners we had. Things happen, Moeen has been the guy for us and has often delivered. Sheppy is dangerous in the endovers and that is why we kept him for the latter stages. The batters above him played one too many dot balls. Things were going very well and one over could take the game away from us. The way we were putting pressure I said to them that one more dismissal could do it for us. Unfortunately, we fell short at the final hurdle but the guys have played really well. Congratulations to Dwayne Bravo on a great career and wishing him all the best for the future

Everyone tried to give their best and I bowled according to the conditions as well. We played three games before this one and had good planning. We went through the plans and delivered on it.
