Christian McCaffrey might be at the top of everyone's list if we're talking about the most dominant running back in the NFL, especially in today's game. McCaffrey, who the Carolina Panthers selected in the 2017 NFL Draft, is the first running back in league history to have successive seasons with 100 or more catches. He achieved the record for the fastest player in league history to amass 3,000 rushing yards and 3,000 receiving yards in just 57 games in 2021.

Christian McCaffrey is currently an active running back for the San Francisco 49ers and his overall contributions for the team has allowed him to become the highest-paid running back in the league. McCaffrey was an important member of the 2023-24 49ers team that went all the way to Super Bowl LVIII. While he had an excellent season altogether, he also left his mark in the Super Bowl where he finished with a touchdown and 160 total yards in a losing contribution.
