Keenan Alexander Allen is an American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL) as of 2024. He was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the third round of the 2013 draft with the 76th overall pick. Allen burst onto the scene in his rookie year and broke the Chargers' records for receptions and receiving yards by a rookie. In 2017, he was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. Since then, he’s been named to 5 straight Pro Bowls from 2017 to 2021. The 2017 NFL Comeback Player of the Year had more than 1,200 receiving yards in 2023, which got him his 6th Pro Bowl nod. Keenen was traded to Chicago in the 2024 off-season by the LA. As of 2024, Allen has far outweighed his draft status and has six 1,000-yard receiving seasons under his belt.

The North Carolina native is a member of the state-recognized Lumbee Tribe. Allen went to Grimsley Senior High School and Northern Guilford High School. The five-star recruit coming out of high school, Allen committed to the University of California, where he played for the Golden Bears from 2010 to 2012. He finished his collegiate career with more than 2,500 receiving yards and 19 total touchdowns.
