In 2013, Stafford bought his Bloomfield Township home which sits on 1.27 acres of lakefront property, and which he sold for $6.5 million. He has now purchased properties at New Coast, California and Atlanta. According to Realtor, his latest real estate purchase is a $28 million mansion in the Hidden Hills private area in San Fernando Valley which is in the same neighbourhood as their previous home they bought in 2022 for $10.5 million. Now both their house covers 3-acre compound along with two swimming pools.

Matthew Stafford has been extensively involved in various charity efforts, and as a result, he was the Detroit Lions’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee for 2018.
