Danny Amendola is a former wide receiver in the NFL who was signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2008 after he remained undrafted that year. A Texas Tech University alumnus, Amendola since went on to play for the St. Louis Rams (Los Angeles Rams), New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and Houston Texans before retiring in July 2022. He was also signed to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad in 2009 but failed to make the cut to the final roster for the season.

He would go on to win 2 Super Bowls with the legendary Tom Brady leading the way from under center. Amendola was part of the Patriots Super Bowl XLIX and LI winning teams.
